Okay, yes, I'm a bit of an Aimee Song. I'm obsessed with avocados. I'm also a self-proclaimed trout aficionado so I decided... why not combine my favourites and come up with the ultimate snack?
Raw trout ( I get mine at Woolworths, super fresh and equally yummy)
Half of an avocado
1 crushed rye crispy bread
Flat health wrap
2 tablespoons of lemonjuice
Salt and pepper
A tablespoon of diced onions (OPTIONAL)
First, mash up half of the avocado in a bowl, add in the diced onions, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and the salt to season. Mix it up well until you've reached a smooth, lumpless consistency. Then butter up the wrap in your avocado mixture. Layer the trout over the avocado, add the rye crispy bread on top of the trout. Then finish by drizzling 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and a dash of pepper over your wrap. Then, TADA! You're done. Easy right? You can wash it all down with a nice cool cup of ginger lemonade.
